The story begins back in 1923. Under the leadership of Abbé Balitrand, a number of winegrowers joined forces to better withstand the economic difficulties of the period. Together, in the middle of the Chablis vineyards, they created a cooperative winery to market their wines.

The vineyard

The extraordinary reputation of Chablis wines is intimately linked with their unique grape variety : Chardonnay.

Born in Burgundy, its quality has become synonymous with the most flamboyant wines over the centuries.

The winemaking process, essential to revealing the full richness and complexity of the Chablis terroirs, begins immediately after the harvest when the member winegrowers press the grapes to extract the juice.

The Range

We produce some thirty different wines within the appellation area, each with its own great personality. Among them are several Chablis and Petit Chablis wines, alongside 13 Premier Crus and 7 Grand Crus – including the legendary Château Grenouilles.
